Summary/Abstract: An aim of considerations is to identify groups of consumer goods and services for which a socio-professional group has a great, low or typical impact on differentiation of expenditure on consumer goods and services. In her article, the author estimated for 13 groups of consumer goods and services the scatter of volumes of per capita expenditure depending on the household’s socio-economic group. The measure used for this purpose was the classical coefficient of intergroup variability. The research period covered the years 2006-2012. In result of the surveys carried out, consumer goods and services were divided into 3 categories expenditure on which is very sensitive to the change of the socio-economic group, not very sensitive to that change, and with the typical sensitivity of expenditure. The article is of the research nature.
