Summary/Abstract: Undoubtedly, with the development technology and engineering, a significantprogress can be observed in related areas. According to R. Florida (Florida 2002, 2005,p. 54), creativity, which provides non-material values with material basis located inproducts or services, constitutes one of them. The formation of the creative industrysector is a market consequence of the process. The sector of creative industry, as anelementof contemoprary economy, constitutes an interesting instance of the applicationof the theory of social and cultural development within the principles of economy.The segment of electronic entertainment constitutes one of its elements.The author of the paper, evaluates selected segments of the electronic entertainmentbranch in Poland in the context of the impact of their potential on the developmentof creative industry.
