The Structure of Secondary Determinations of the Divine

Summary/Abstract: In the light of Nae Ionescu’s Philosophy of the religions, this text tries to examine the meaning of the structure of the secondary determinations pertaining to the divine. This symbolic structure belongs to the diurnal regime, marked by verticality, the ceaseless appeal to transcendence, purification, and light. The hermeneutic of this structure (the structures of the secondary determinations of the divine) demonstrates the organic character of religion, underlining once again the dynamism of the Orthodox imaginary, conceived from a plural perspective, which fertilizes its whole texture, essential for the theological and metaphysical reality.
