Stakeholders in Developing Organisational Security under Non-Economic Crisis Circumstances in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The article proposes the use of modern views and concepts related to the stakeholder theory, marketing views and those related to social entrepreneurship and legitimisation for the benefit of organisation security. The emphasis has been placed on the fact that stakeholder management should take into consideration the possibility ofa non-economic crisis. Attention has been paid to the necessity of following a new approachto managing stakeholders, taking into account the issues related to this type of crisis. The role of the developing group of social entrepreneurs as new company stakeholders has been discussed in the context of business entity security. The issue has been raised of the role of non-profit organisations as stakeholders that support security of companies under non-economic crisis circumstances. The view has been presented that the cooperation between organisations and stakeholders constitutes a factor of synergy that is conducive to a common perception and prevention of threat by the company and the local community.
