Social and ecological responsibility of organisation and safety

Summary/Abstract: The paper justifies the view of significant role of CSR in the activities of an organisation in the situation of non-economic crisis. Following with CSR allows basing on values related to both social and ecological responsibility. This fact is of major importance for developing both ecological and social safety, with emphasis on the role of the stakeholders. The current CSR activities in the context of safety have been discussed with the indication of the existing standards and practice. The importance of dialogue with stakeholders is emphasised along with social reporting addressed to them, which should take aspects of safety into consideration. The role of negotiations with stakeholders in order to enhance safety is indicated
