REFERENDUM WITH REGARD TO REVOCATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF SZCZECIN

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the reason and the circumstances of organization of referendum with regard to revocation of the president of Szczecin. It was the second referendum that was held in Poland since the direct election of the president of the city had been introduced in the year 2002. The author has researched cooperation of different political environments with the purpose of conducting the referendum. The article has also described the causes of creating the ideas on conducting the referendum, cooperation of different political environments and the manner of completion of this cooperation.
