Justificatory cause of the order of law. Grounds for refusal of execution of a European Arrest Warrant

Summary/Abstract: The participation of a Romanian citizen, together with other persons, in committing a criminal act on the territory of another state, member of the European Union, having the quality of informer of the Romanian Authorities, constitutes a reason for refusal for the execution of the European Arrest Warrant, determined by the justificatory cause provided in art. 21 par. (1) the 2nd thesis from the Romanian Criminal Code, consisting in fulfilling an obligation provided by the law.
