Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify the significance, trends and prospects for the development of polish CCI exports. This study covers the years 2002–2015 and it was based on literature studies and analysis of statistics from the UNCTAD database. Herfindahl-Hirschman’s normalized concentration index was used in the analysis of commodity and geographical structure. The export diversification index EDI has additionally been used to the analysis of the commodity structure. The identification of export development perspectives for polish export of CCI products was based on the Indicative Trade Potential (ITP). The article shows a significant strengthening of the position of Polish CCI in the international market. There were slight changes in the commodity structure of exports, mainly due to the decrease in the level of its concentration. It was noted that this phenomenon distinguishes Polish exports of CCI products from global and EU tendencies. The analysis of the geographical structure has shown a high concentration of polish CCI exports. China, the United States and Australia were designated as the most prospective non-European destinations for polish CCI exports. The product group with the highest export potential turned out to be the design. The issue of export of CCI products is not a frequent subject of research in Poland. The conclusions of this paper can be used as guidance for the government’s trade policy and to CCI industry entrepreneurs considering expanding their activities to the non-European market.
