Summary/Abstract: The paper presents ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concept and discuss the most often implemented processes as the practice of managing IT services in large organizations and SME. The article points the customer satisfaction as the main challenge behind IT departments. Some new trend in ITISM are discussed.
