SOCIAL RISKS AND THREATS AGAINST EUROPE

Summary/Abstract: It is more than obvious that Europe is facing a social threat through these waves of refugees that invaded our continent. Nowadays, migration stands on top of the European policy agenda. Could we say that all these events simply happened or are they planned ahead? In our opinion, both possibilities could be valid and some international actors exploit this situation. All in all, massive and unwanted inflows of migrants are deemed to threaten the stability of the European Union. Generally speaking, ‘unwanted’migrants are those who cross borders in an illegal manner, but also could be those who do not enter mainly for employment purposes, as the case is with refugees or asylum seekers.
