Summary/Abstract: This scourge throughout Europe is a matter of concern to European political leaders. School plays animportant role in the lives of today’s societies. It also contributes to social mobility. European states give muchimportance to the school and future citizens in the EU. Despite a great deal of investment and school projects, manyyoung people leave school too early, without a diploma and without qualification. The European or even globalphenomenon of early school leaving is a matter of concern to the EU leaders. Which strategy should we adopt?What measures to take urgently? What should we do to prevent milliards of young people from leaving school veryearly? What place must be given to learning? What European examples should we follow?
