Professor Jorgji Gjinari and the albanology in the second half of XXth century

Summary/Abstract: Professor Jorgji Gjinari is one of the separate personalities of Philology of the second half of XX century. His contributions in the field of Philology belong first and foremost knowledge of dialectology and its institutionalization in particular and in general Philology. With the first texts normative for dialectology for the needs of students, (Dialectology-, Dialectology- Albanian etc.) and the synthesis of the large field of dialectology, studies monograph (dialects of Albanian language, etc.) to Atlas dialectology Albanian, he contributed great dimensioning of the foundations of this knowledge in Albanological studies. These are just some of the reasons why his country in the history of Philology comes to such an extent in which appears a precious part of the most prominent contemporaries of his time.
