POEMUL INIŢIATIC
THE INITIATIC POEM

Summary/Abstract: The article suggests through the title filiations of the poem (generic name of any literary work) with the esoteric and initiation practices.From a determinist equilibrated position we don’t reject literature’s association with magic, the dream, the neurosis. If through occultism it is understood something that is hidden, something that it can be revealed only by the initiated ones, it means that literature through its mission of pervading the intimate, hidden nature of things has an initiation character. Examples from Romanian and Universal literature are given to get the conclusion that each durable creation looks for an initiation, even if failed, in life’s mysteries.
