Summary/Abstract: The regional imbalances, which have begun to be seen together with the industrial revolution, After World War II, he started to take part in the economic and political agenda. Regional imbalances, regional differences and intra-regional development differences are one of the most important problems of today's world. As a result, all countries have sought solutions. The developmental differences between regions, which are very evident in Turkey, clearly show the defects in our regional politics. Infrastructure investments are all kinds of investment that deals with the whole of the economic, institutional and social order that allows the creation or realization of production conditions in a particular economic area. According to the "new regional development" approach, investments to improve social infrastructure and technological progress are as important as physical infrastructure investments. In order for public investments and improvements in the financial infrastructure to be effective in increasing regional welfare, it is necessary to overcome the deficiencies in social infrastructure. In this study, the implications and effects of social infrastructure investments that directly affect the quality of life of the people of the region will be discussed and suggestions will be made.
