Summary/Abstract: Leonid Nikolaevich Andreev reacted very impulsively when the Russian October Revolution was approaching in 1917. He was upset by the way in which the Bolsheviki understood the revolution. Anticipating the future cataclysms the Russian writer pointed out the destructive, violent, ruthless features of such a concept of revolution which – according to his point of view – was not soulful revolution but only a dangerous revolt.
