Usage of Payments Cards and Mobile Devices in Financial Payments Carried Out by Youth Studying the Economics Fields in the Visegrad Countries

Summary/Abstract: Electronic payments are one of the fastest growing financial market areas. This development is favoured by many factors, including economic, legal and technical. The most popular ways to implement electronic payments are very popular and widely used payment cards and very dynamically developing mobile payments. Research has shown that card payments are still the most popular, while mobile payments are their complementary form. In addition, it was found that the level of use of these forms of payment still confirms the great potential for further development of this financial market segment.
