Powers of the Employer during Stay in the Undertaking

Summary/Abstract: In the present study under consideration are not all the details of the legally provided powers of the employer during stay in its undertaking. These powers were subject of study and analysis in Bulgaran labour law science and relevant case-law. Subject-matter of analysis here is only a specific aspect of that issue - the answer to the question whether the employer may offer to its workers or employees to make use of the unpaid leave under Article 160 (1) of the Bulgarian Labour Code in cases of stay (work suspension) in its undertaking. The reason why this issue is under question is that in the labour law studies and in the relevant case-law it is supported that such power of the employer is legitimate in cases of stay in its undertaking.
