Modification of Employment Relationships under the Law

Summary/Abstract: The reassignment of senior Assistant Professors, who as of 1 January 2015 have not acquired the PhD grade, raises specific labor law issues with regard to the term of their employment contracts. On the basis of a doctrinal analysis the thesis is defended that in the case under consideration there is reassignment which constitutes modification of employment relationships under the law. In that context the practical aspects of that legal provision are researched. Some brief historical notes are also made regarding the evolution of the legislation with a view to make more visible the legal hypothesis currently in force.
