Music therapy in the rehabilitation of minors

Summary/Abstract: In recent years, music therapy has become a widely used method of help and treatment used in social, educational and medical / therapeutic areas. Its character, thanks to music, artistic and cultural, and through a therapy - psychological and medical, has created a wide range of practical applications. This wealth of areas that are combined with music therapy, can be explained by the fact that it can relate to any person. Indeed, unlike for example, psychotherapeutic techniques (psychodrama, psychoanalysis), each has a personal experience of music and its impact, both positive and negative. Music therapy has also become another method of supporting the development potentials of socially maladjusted youth, hence the impact of the music is more and more often present within the activities of correctional institutions for young people.
