Summary/Abstract: The article is the result of scientific research on the evolution of conventional and non conventional means of warfare and it also shows the role of military medicine in save guarding of combatants’ lives in military actions.The article emphasizes the evolution stages of combat technique (armament), losses in combatant personnel along the evolution and the way the structures of military medicine acted in save guarding the lives of military personnel.
