Summary/Abstract: The issue of human losses in the WWII in the Venezia Giulia region must be viewed in light of War-related events and wider social movements, with special reference made to dynamics of events in Yugoslav territory. The issue of human losses is closely related, especially in the post-War period, with the issue of the "exodus", i.e. emigration from those areas occupied by the Yugoslav Army following WWII which were subsequently annexed to Yugoslavia.
