Models of project team management in the IT industry

Summary/Abstract: Project management and team work are commonly applied in IT companies. The purpose of this article is to present theoretical models of management project teams in the IT industry (IT). Therefore, we discuss the traditional models of project teams’ management and team work in network structures. Moreover, special attention is given to Agile Project Management – APM, as with most IT projects, it is recommended that the network approach be implemented which team structure changes over time and its members fluctuate. However, in some cases, the traditional approach to managing teams is applicable. Thus, it is desirable to carry out research into the relationship between network structures and the effectiveness of project teams in IT companies and their dependencies on the roles of team members.
