Introducing Children into Music Culture Current Regulations and Methodological Advice

Summary/Abstract: The author points to values that come from music education, tampered both with and to the music. The author also provides her own systematization of determinants that successfully introduce children to the culture of music. Moreover, Ławrowska discusses current regulations in music education in the context of education system. The presented study provides the reader with many methodological clues (grounded in the author’s own experience) that concern the unique nature of introducing children into the world of music, as well as examples of integrated lessons inspired by instrumental music.
