Multidimensional comparative analysis of the municipal-housing situation of Lower Silesia districts

Summary/Abstract: District as a local government unit between municipality and region performspublic tasks in the field of social and technical infrastructure and public policy and safety. Thepaper presents the analysis of municipal infrastructure and housing of Lower Silesia districtsin 2010-2014. The study used diagnostic variables in the form of selected indicators ofdemographic and housing infrastructure. Research tools were two methods of multivariatestatistical analysis − linear ordering and Ward’s clustering method. The results of the analysisidentified the districts characterized by the best and the worst minicipality housing situation,as well as similar and outliers districts of Lower Silesia region.
