The application of TOPSIS method for the evaluation of diversification of Polish voivodeships between 2005-2014 in the context of forming of institutional domain

Summary/Abstract: The goal of this study is to analyse differences in voivodeships development in Poland between 2010 and 2014 in the context of institutional domain. The development measure was constructed and the rankings of voivodeships were built by means of TOPSIS algorithm with a common development pattern. The TOPSIS modification was proposed that allow eliminating the construction of the ideal and anti-ideal vectors of diagnostic characteristics. In the time-related perspective the development of voivodeships was studied and the differences in results obtained by means of classic and modified TOPSIS were discussed
