Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims at clarifying the delicate matter implied by the following notions: implicit, supposed and presumed. In order to do that, several works and researches in the field of pragmatics have been compared. What the present paper sets forth is not at all an exhaustive reading of the chosen subject, but it aims at providing directions of interpretation, axes, points of support- in short, a possible reading grid. The intention of this paper is to present the main modern theories focused on this subject, theories whose formative and informative stimuli will serve us as analysis tools on concrete texts.
