Summary/Abstract: Social responsibility in business still causes discussions in terms of how we understand the issue, the dominating models in business practice and the consequences of being involved in socially responsible actions as a company. Rehabilitation products should be socially responsible. While creating such products one should combine multiple needs - those of the designer, the producer, the physiotherapist and the customer. The aim of the paper is to answer the question what social responsibility means for designers - is it a deeply rooted value or do they use it for marketing purposes mainly?
