Forms of didacticity in the speech of the current Romanian press (The case of astronomical events)

Summary/Abstract: This article aims at the identification of certain elements of didacticism in the discourse of daily press, starting from a body of material published on the occasion of the eclipse of August 1st 2008. The main benchmarks of the analysis refer to possible linguistic manifestations of this didacticism: methods of defining, restatement, or repetition of information, usage of images and diagrams, citation of specialists in the field.
