Summary/Abstract: Located on the edge of the Empire, Scythia province was in close correlation with its economic, historical, religious evolution, as well as its relations with migratory peoples. Towards the end of the late Roman antiquity, we witness a gradual abandonment of the urban life model and the beginning of an increasingly obvious rurality as a result of the repeated invasions that have put their mark on the entire province.
