Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the way in which the passive voice appears in a technical text. Our study aims at analysing a corpus of texts in the field of car construction, written in French and Romanian. What interests us particularly in this approach is to identify passive constructions and analyse their structure and their role in achieving the communicative goal of the speaker.
