REVISITING GRANTING THE RIGHT TO ESTABLISH GENERAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue and argumentation of the significance of granting the right to be founders of educational institutions to the religious organizations in Ukraine. The author believes that legislative granting such a right to religious organizations is a significant step to eliminate the consequences of Soviet policy in the matters of religion and church, as well as to get closer to all-European state and confessional relations standards particularly in the academic field. The article presents the history of the issue and analyses contrary argumentations.
