Summary/Abstract: Existentials of boundary are the dimensions of the human Being-in-the-world with the Others and the loss of Selfhood under the influence of the Others. The article presents the ontological interpretation of the world in Being and time by Martin Heidegger through Dasein in his everyday being and one-dimensional existence in The One-Dimensional Man by Herbert Marcuse. The comparative analysis examines:– Everyday Being by Dasein which is revealed through das Man as a possible way of Being-with;– the worldhood of the world moving through the eyes of the whole phenomenon Being-in-the-world;– the one-dimensional man presented in the context of historical objectivity, subjected to material satisfaction partially deprived of the freedom of choice;– the sameness, the overcrowdedness, the loss of oneself, represented by the concepts of das Man and one-dimensional man.
