Summary/Abstract: Creating Lithuanian economy based on knowledge, high technologies and qualified work the interaction of efficient business and vocational training is essential. It guarantees the ability of trained specialists to compete in the European labour market as well as to have conditions, which guarantee the quality of life in Lithuania matching the quality of life in Europe. The contemporary vocational training system matching the requirements of business will give more opportunities to obtain competing qualification together with their desirability. The aim of the article is to answer the problem question: What influences the interaction of vocational training and business, the essential factor to train specialists? The relevance of the article is conditioned by differences between the requirements of business system to the system of vocational training and real efficacy of the two systems cooperation.
