Technological and economic potential of the Polish automotive industry to produce modern military trucks in the future

Summary/Abstract: In the article its author analyzes the problem, if in Poland there are companies, based on domestic resources of capital, knowledge and production facilities, which are able to make modern military trucks. The purpose of this article is to answer this question. It is given as a result of analyzing available official papers on this subject, underlining the fact that there are very few publicly available materials dedicated to this subject in Poland. These sources of information are complemented by the author’s own conclusions because he has been dealing with this issue for more than 20 years and is one of very few people outside the Polish Ministry of National Defense possessing the unique knowledge in this area.
