Importance of quality in functioning of public transport

Summary/Abstract: Functioning of the public transport is an inherent element of the city transport system. The service delivery by enterprises of the public transport requires satisfying of transportation needs of potential customers what is also being combined with the necessity of the constant refinement of these services. Transport companies functioning in Western Europe are carrying requirements of customers out with reference to the service quality. In Poland, including Szczecin, action is being conducted, of which raising the comfort of the travel by means of communication is a public task, which will be described by author in the article. A measurement of the quality of provided services is also an important component and the several types of examinations will also be introduced in the article.
