Services development of laboratories with flexible scope of accreditation

Summary/Abstract: Accreditation of laboratories with flexible scope is relatively new proposal of the Polish Centre for Accreditation. The article explains conception of accreditation with flexible scope, as well as contains basic difference between the current fixed scopes of accreditation and flexible scopes of accreditation. Moreover the requirements for accreditation of flexible scope were presented. These requirements concern adaptation of the existing management system in the laboratory. Research were conducted related to services market of laboratories with flexible scope of accreditation. Quantity of laboratories with flexible scope of accreditation and participation accredited methods in flexible scope in relation to methods in fixed scope of laboratories were presented. Moreover the article presents most accredited in flexible scope tested characteristics and related objects.
