Summary/Abstract: The paper presents selected results of surveys conducted among the citizens of the West Pomeranian region, which aimed to identify the changes in household consumption. Amongst others the following research problems were posed in the research: identification of lifestyle, consumer behaviours, attitudes, places and ways of satisfying their needs. The results of the conducted research, presented in the article, outline the possibility of identifying five different styles of life among the citizens of the West Pomeranian region. In their description included were the attitudes towards selected aspects of consumer behaviour, and the differences and similarities in the ways of satisfying the selected groups of needs.
