Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods of researching consumer behaviours and the possibilities of using simulation techniques that enrich the existing knowledge of running such researches in the traditional way. Traditional survey research methods, which are used by companies when collecting customer information, provide very limited information. Computer simulations can assist the company by eliminating some or most of the wrong marketing decisions.
