Summary/Abstract: The paper focus on how the Anglo-Saxon origin terms “contaminate” the Hungarian touristic communication. The author assumes that during the close interaction with the international travel offices a lot of foreign words and phrases have infiltrated in the Hungarian language, and resulted the emerging of an almost complete jargon that lacks the coherence of other terminology and thus becomes an instrument of misinformation. The author assumes that this foreign language“infiltration” is not regular, not verified and not controlled by any linguistic authority.
