Summary/Abstract: The basic duties of the public service radio are, among others, to provide correct, objective, and fast information, and mediate cultural values. Regional public service radios must complete their duties in accordance with the principle of regionality. What are the basic functions and how is the principle of regionality achieved in the Regional Radio of Marosvásárhely (Tîrgu Mureş, Romania)?The paper proposes to answer these questions.
