The role of human factor in the development of banking sector in Poland

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the role of human factor as the main factor in the development of activities of the banking sector in Poland. It consists of an introduction, two parts, and the conclusions. The first part presents the question of managing human factor in a commercial bank and, in particular the basic bank operations in the domain of rational management of human factor the, staff planning and the assessment of changes on the employment level. The second part presents an analysis related to the level of employment, the cost of salaries and the efficiency of work in the banking sector in Poland in the period 1999–2010.
