Summary/Abstract: Purpose – Study of the relationship between the structure of financing and the size of the companies of the manufacturing sector in Poland in the years 2011–2016 and evaluation on the structure of assets, capital and capital-assets. Design/methodology/approach – lining 13 000 enterprises up according to the growing asset value, the division on 1000 element subsets but next calculating financing structures for every subset with exploiting the value of the average weighted, using rates of the structure and rules of financing. Findings – Depending on the size of the companies specified by the value of total assets, significantly increasing the share of equity capital in total liabilities, mainly at the expense of decreasing shares of current liabilities. Originality/value – Demonstration of the relationship between the structure of financing and the size of the companies in the sample production sector 13 000 in Poland in the years 2011–2016.
