Summary/Abstract: This article is a research of the chariots of pit grave and catacomb cultures epoch of the Northern Pontic Area. The materials of Tjagunova Mogila burial mound are published. The author distinguishes battle, cargo, habitable and sackred chariots. Sackred chariots were the combination of battle shariot and supplementary axle with two wheels and couch for died. This type of chariot was the hearse. It was the symbol of the highest military honour. There are some social aspects, reasons, ways and time of the process of sackralisation of chariots in the article.
