Summary/Abstract: The article deals with an extremely vivid and specific phenomenon – modeling of the face according to the skull - proper to Ingul Catacomb Culture of the Bronze Age. The article offers one of the most complete lists of interments of the named culture with the modeled facial part of the skull. The questions of cultural – territorial localization of this phenomenon are being made more precise, different aspects of their possible social and cult interpretation are under discussion.
