Summary/Abstract: Critics of religion put forward against Christianity the objection that it has only human origin and has no supernatural character. Accordingly there is a need for the justification of the divine origin of Christianity as a religion fully revealed, that is to demonstrate its credibility. Fundamental theology is a discipline which justifies the credibility of Christian revelation. It formulates arguments by pointing out that the acceptance of revelation made in Christ is worthy of the rational and free human nature. Among these arguments are: the resurrection of Jesus, fulfillment of the messianic prophecies and the miracles of Jesus. As a preliminary questions also examined are: the issue of the credibility of the Gospels and of the messianic consciousness of Jesus. Today, fundamental theology constructs new arguments for the credibility of Christian revelation, taking into account the needs and mentality of man. These include, for example, the martyrological argument, the culture-building argument, argument of love, argument of hope, argument of good, argument of holiness and argument of the uniqueness of Christianity in comparison with other religions. The demonstration of the credibility of Christian revelation allows a person to accept it reasonably through religious faith.
