Summary/Abstract: In the Archives of the Hungarian National Museum there are several data from the 19th c. concerning unpublished and lost Roman stone monuments. In this paper the authors publish 4 new Roman stone inscriptions from Bölcske, Madocsa, Visegrád, and from County Veszprém. Among them the most important one is a fragmentary building inscription from Bölcske. The latter is the 17th piece of the building inscriptions of burgi and praesidia under Commodus’ reign. These tablets have the same text and they can be dated to the peaceful period of the 180s before Commodus’ new Sarmatian war after 185. Its find-spot can probably be connected with the late Roman counter fortification of Bölcske.
