Summary/Abstract: The objective of this research is not to develop a single purely theoretical or at least conventional notion of virtual reality, but to systematize its contextual and situational definitions. Accordingly, the research strategy of the virtual reality ontology is not aimed at changing the existing or at introducing new axiomatics; it is rather designed with a view to enhance logical and semantic alignment of intersubjective context related to the definition of modal categories.
