Summary/Abstract: Jacques Derrida was lent in the Frankfurt Paulskirche of the Theodor W. Adorno Adorno-Preis 2001. The Laudatio on the scholar held professor Bernhard Waldenfels of the Ruhr University in Bochum. It appreciated Jacques Derrida as an independent and maladjusted philosopher and as an author, who used up itself the “traces of the absence”. The speech of Bernhard Waldenfels is here documented in the wording. (Frankfurter Rundschau, 24.09.2001)
