Implementation of selected methods of lean management with a product at a flexible production plant

Summary/Abstract: Together with the economic crisis, which will have to be faced, manufacturers should seek opportunities for their market in implementing such concepts of product management that will ensure margins (profits from sales) at a level providing chances not only related to survival, but also development. Such a perspective is spread among the manufacturers by the concept of leaning of a product, that is referred to in this publication, in which literature research was made in terms of the paradigm of lean management as a concept implemented in a flexible manufacturing plant. Also, a lean management strategy with regard to the discussed, by the manufacturing plant, product was developed, which in turn, in the final stage, resulted in the development of a lean product concept providing above-average profits from the sale.
