Threats identification in international logistic services for subjects operating internationally

Summary/Abstract: In case of enterprises acting in international environment, there are more and more examples of cooperation with logistic service providers (LSP). The range of usage of their offers is usually broad. It depends on needs and established strategy. Cooperation may rely on buying only transport service or on more complex activity like managing the flow of goods in international supply network. Higher complexity of tasks brings higher risk of cooperation with LSP. It influences the development of risk management procedures. There are several kinds of risk. Actual state of knowledge in this area has been presented in this paper as a start point to future research. There are presented sources of risk, suggested ways of proceeding and methods of risk reduction. The target of future research is the evaluation of commonness and efficiency of used methods of risk management.
